Saturday morning this weekend was classic Fall weather in Michigan. Clear, cold, crisp. Football weather.
The frost gave the trees and grass a hint of winter to come and the cool morning light left the colors on the ground desaturated.
As the sun rose and the morning progressed, the frost melted and left a sheen of water. The light brightened and warmed the colors of Fall leaves.
It was a shame to have to start Saturday morning chores. Laundry. Shopping for weekly necessities. A bit of clean up around the house. Putting off a workout.
Here’s the “cover” image one more time. I tweaked this one a touch, adding a bit of brightness and a some saturation to the dead leaf in the grass.
To get the image, I had to lie down in the grass. I left a body print of melted frost behind. It was more than worth it to get a little bit wet.
Cheers!
