This week I spent most of my time looking at small-scape landscapes or windows into landscapes. Most of the images are black and white. This cover image is the only one in color. It felt better with the blue in the shed and the red in the branch. The others felt better in contrasty black and white, which is the look I had in mind when shooting the images.
Part of what drew me to the arched branch is the buds on it. It’s not yet spring. But it’s almost here.
